I've had an excellent experience with Kilowatt. They came out to help with my new home that was built in the 1950s - they gave me an accurate estimate and explained everything they were going to do. They added plugs for all my old hard-wired appliances. The dishwasher came later and ended up not fitting because the electrical box was too large and March came out and fixed it. Sam is very responsive and both are friendly and easy to talk to. I'm very happy with the excellent work they did! I am very impressed with the service and honesty of Kilowatt. I called because my ceiling fan did not work. Sam told me to buy a new one if for some reason they could not get it fixed. That way I didn't have to pay for two service calls. March showed up right on time and was able to repair the wiring leading to the fan. He is a very polite, competent, knowledgeable young man. He fixed it quickly, let me know what the problem was, and even dusted off the light bulbs for me. I highly recommend Kilowatt and will definitely call them again for electrical issues.

Great recent experience with Kilowatt.  The electrician was on time (actually, a little early), courteous and knowledgeable.  I had several minor projects that he handled expeditiously. I've installed a few 240V circuits before, so I felt pretty confident I could do another one with no problems. Well... while running the new line, I decided it would be a good idea to drill up from my crawlspace—right into my main service line coming from the meter. I have never seen a such a flash of electricity and smoke come out of such a small 3/4" hole. Looking back, it's a wonder I didn't seriously hurt myself... or worse. To top it off, I was home alone in my crawlspace. I called Kilowatt first thing Monday morning and was immediately greeted by a very kind woman on the phone who quickly took all of my information and helped calm me down. Not long after, Sam, the owner, personally called me. I explained what happened and admitted maybe I shouldn't have tried to play electrician that day. He immediately had his electrician, Walden, on the way. Walden was extremely kind, professional, and took the time to explain things to me that I didn't know. I work from home, so I was really worried about how long I would be without power—but Walden reran and wired up a new supply cable in just a couple of hours. I hired Kilowatt Electric to install an EV charger.  The workers showed up on time, acted professionally, and helpfully suggested a great way to run the piping below the mulch bed to keep the house in better appearance.
